Another year has come into horizon...In Chinese believe,
it is the year of the Monkey ! The playful and cute creature
who has brighten up our world and makes us smile with their act which
resemble human being's. However their fate is far from certain. We,
human being has left no room for them to life, we chop their home...the
forest, we take the baby as pet and kill the mother, we put them in
the laboratory to die... Therefore I have chosen two organization
who are fighting for the existence of the orangutans in Indonesia
as this site's Topic of the Month : Balikpapan
Orangutan Society (BOS) and Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS).
I have called Singapore home for almost 3
years now...it is amazing to watch how the people of this little sophisticated
island change their mindset and attitude toward animal & nature
gradually. Apart from the good ol' Nature Society, a few NGOs and
charity organizations bloom one by one over the years. I have included

There are long and hard battles in this world to
save our environment, wildlife and animals ! My admiration and salute
go to the people & organizations who fight for the bigger causes
and let us, as individual do our little part to reuse, reduce and
recycle as well as be a conscious human being to fellow God's
creation.
