Discovered by Australian surfers during the 1970s, Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area has
become the busiest, the noisiest, the cheapest, and the most crowded tourist center in Bali.
Only 10 km away south from Denpasar and 5-minutes drive from the International Airport,
Ngurah Rai, Kuta usually paints the earliest impression on Bali for visitors
who visit Bali for the first time.
Today, thanks to tourism in the area, Kuta becomes one of
the richest cities in Indonesia!
Kuta boosts one of the best beaches in Asia : Kuta Beach. Most famous for
its sunset, the beach is also a perfect place for surfing.
You will be able to see why Kuta attracts the younger crowd
of people, especially those who want to taste the feel of paradise with only a few dollars per day.
There are thousand and thousand of shops, restaurants, pubs,
cafes, night clubs, hotels, and discos within Kuta area to fit anyone’s budget, taste, preference, and
lifestyle.
The area is also extremely famous for its night life, sometimes lasts until
6-7 o’clock in the morning!
Kuta is a fun and great place to visit, but it is recommended to visit
the other cities and areas should you wish to experience the real Bali.
Besides all possibile activities within Kuta Beach, bungy jumping, gokart and shopping
are things normally done by visitors of Kuta.
